Work on the 28,000 sf, CM/GC project involved construction of a new single-story, steel and wood-framed library building and complete renovation to existing city offices. Unique design elements of the library include a steel and glass radiused wall, extensive use of local artwork, and a fireplace as the feature point of the main reading area. P&C worked closely with city staff to minimize the impact of construction on the city office working environment and to maintain public access at all times. And thanks to precise scheduling by P&C, the project was completed three months ahead of schedule.
