Owens Corning Manufacturing Facility

The original contract with P&C in 2004 involved all site development on the three-acre site, construction of a 40,000 sf, pre-engineered metal building, and installation of M/E/P infrastructure to support heavy industrial equipment for a styrofoam insulation manufacturing process. In 2009, Phase 2 involved the unique situation of performing modifications to the structure, assistance with all equipment installation, and obtaining LEED Gold certification for an “existing” manufacturing facility. Innovative solutions, such as rainwater harvesting and installation of solar panels for electricity, were implemented by the team to assist with reaching LEED goals.
