The Five Oaks Middle School Seismic Improvements and Re-Roof project will be completed over two summer periods to limit displacement of students and faculty, wrapping up in late summer of 2024. Scope includes seismic renovations to the existing infrastructure to anchor brick veneer, brace ductwork and piping in the ceilings, reinforce roof deck connections, connect footings to tilt-up panels, and install new interior CMU shear walls. Work will also include replacing existing built-up roofing with new TPO roofing system, new gym rooftop mechanical unit, new rooftop exhaust fans and curbs, new gym floors, new gym bleachers, and new ceilings and lighting in select locations.
