Ore­gon Man­u­fac­tur­ing Inno­va­tion Cen­ter (OMIC) R&D Retrofit

OMIC’s mission is to develop and apply advanced metals manufacturing technologies and processes for industrial competitive advantage and academic growth, while inspiring and educating the next generation’s manufacturing workforce.

This project focused on the renovation of OMIC’s existing Research and Development facility in Scappoose, Oregon. Scope included interior and exterior renovations, including but not limited to door replacements, infilling other openings with walls, translucent panels and windows, additional insulation, new heating and cooling equipment, replacing all light fixtures in high-bay and installing two (2) 5-ton overhead cranes. Additional scope included sprinkler upgrades, lighting upgrades, ADA improvements, structural upgrades, exterior finishes, parking improvements and extensive site work.
