The City of Tigard’s Universal Plaza is a place for everyone - a community gathering spot in the heart of a revitalized downtown that celebrates our shared humanity and our one shared planet. The project has been split into two distinct phases, the first of which included the design and construction of a 1.18-acre public park. Most notably, the new park includes the community’s most requested amenity – an interactive water feature and splash pad. Additional scope included restrooms, porch swings, hard and softscapes, artwork installation and a brand-new connection to the nearby Fanno Creek Trail.
