Vernonia New K‑12 School

The $27 million, CM/GC project for Vernonia School District involved the construction of a new, 135,000 sf concrete tilt-up K-12 school. The LEED Platinum certified, two-story new building was designed to provide a superior quality educational facility to replace the existing schools affected by the Vernonia flood of December 2007. The project is a result of the collaborative efforts of the Vernonia community, the State of Oregon, and multiple federal organizations. It is also recognized throughout the state and the nation for sustainability, cost effective design and construction, and providing a state-of-the-art facility to a rural community!
