The $1.1 million project involved significant seismic upgrades and improvements to the fully occupied and operational 13,000 sf police and fire department facility. Scope of work also included exterior siding and roofing replacement, a CMU and wood-framed storage room addition, and an expanded communication system. Major portions of the construction were completed by local subcontractors from Astoria and the surrounding communities.
