This three-story, 16,009 sf, 12-unit affordable multi-family residential complex was named after Charlotte Lewis, a local African American artist whose legacy reverberates through the community through her art, teachings, and activism. Charlotte Lewis has woven her African American heritage within her art as a means of strengthening community. The new apartment complex honors Lewis by expanding housing opportunities for low-income individuals and families.
Situated in NE Portland, the program consists of ten (10), three (3) bedroom and two (2) bedroom units, as well as a meeting room on the ground floor of the west building.
