The multi-million dollar expansion and remodel of the existing 12,000 sf public library in the City of Sandy included a complete seismic upgrade new exterior facade with natural stone and exposed timbers, replacement of the mechanical and electrical systems, and new interior finishes throughout. Built to LEED silver standards, unique features of the project include custom interior "trees" with plaques that identify library donors, stone mined from a local quarry, and a dumbwaiter refurbished to serve a second floor mezzanine. P&C was selected for the project based on our proven CM/GC experience with library projects and commitment to utilizing local firms for the construction.
