Wilson High School Re-Roof and Facility Improvements

The $4.5 million, K-12 school project for Portland Public Schools consisted of installation of new roofing and facility improvements throughout Wilson High School. Work included approximately 110,000 sf of roof demo down to roofing deck substrate and re-roof with bituminous membrane roofing, significant seismic improvements at the auditorium and surrounding structure, framing and installation of new parapets, self-performed by P&C carpentry crews, interior/exterior improvements at north entry to facilitate ADA improvements, replacement of HVAC RTU's, installation of a fall protection system, and minor renovations to interior lighting and casework. Originally scheduled for two summers, P&C developed a plan to complete all work in a continuous sequence in just 5 months - a full 10 months AHEAD of the original schedule!
